The article presents the views of Andrzej Niemojewski,enfant terribleof Polish politics and political journalism, active during the rebirth of Poland. Niemojewski negated the methods and forms of the newly created nation state, thus marking the limits of the contemporary public debate. His ideas, often demagogic and incoherent, showed interesting aspects of the reality of the years 1917-1919.
