Artykuł jest próbą przedstawienia, w jaki sposób rzeczy poprzez wydobywanie o nich historii z pamięci kształtują relację z człowiekiem, który dany przedmiot użytkuje. Punktem wyjścia jest rozmowa o motocyklu, który stanowi przykład związku człowiek – rzecz. Celem tekstu jest przede wszystkim ukazanie, jak rzeczy wpływają na życie ludzkie i jak konstruują tożsamość.

The article is an attempt to show how things, by extracting stories from memory, form a relationship with the person who uses them. The starting point is a conversation about a motorcycle, an example of a human-thing connection. The purpose of the text is first to show how things affect human life and construct identity.
