The experience gained in preparing a local plan for the detailed spatial development and revalorization o f the Zamość historic complex, proved correct already in drawing a similar plan for the old-town complex at Jarosław, make it possible to put forward proposals for a comprehensive graphic recording o f provisions and postulates o f such a representation. The approved part o f the plan has been worked out in three scales : — 1 : 1000, for a d e t a i l e d p l a n drawn for the entire structural unit, according to the registration in use in Poland, — 1 :500, for a r e v a l o r i z a t i o n p l a n drawn for the area included into ,,A ” zone (active protection o f historic arrangements), according to a graphic code suggested by the authors, — 1 :250, for d i r e c t i v e s f o r r e v a l o r i z a t i o n of the area with extensive historic building, according to the second system of architectural and town-planning registering, also suggested by the authors. The article gives a detailed description o f criterions applied in elaborating the two graphic codes, characteristics o f markings and a mode o f their application. The informational and operative recording o f a revalorization process is done in black and white markings. Colour markings o f both high and low intensity determine functional provisions in the buildings and in the filed. The article represents the voice in the discussion on unifying descriptions o f conservation-orientated plans prepared in various research and professional centres in Poland.
