The paper presents issues of internet communication between the producers (farmers) and consumers, especially in area of direct selling via the Internet. The study were focused on www.odrolnika.pl website. Materials for the study was obtained during meetings with farmers, from the literature and information from the Internet. Presented results indicated that the Internet can help small farms to build a stable group of customers. Cooperation with this groups allows farmers to better understand the needs of consumers.
The paper presented problem of the use of selected elements of technical infrastructure in farms in Malopolska district. The main aim of this article was to determine the level of farm equipment in computers and farmers skills in computer use. Calculations were conducted based on data obtained from farmers who participated in the training for agriculture producers from January till March 2013 in Malopolska district. Obtained data from 160 respondents. The results of the study indicate that 18,75% farmers from surveyed group didn’t have computers, and among those, who had it, 12,3% didn’t use these equipment (they didn’t have necessary skills). Respondents in majority (60%) recognize the legitimacy of using computers as a tool of better farms functioning.
