The article presents the individual characteristics of the language (idiolect/idiostyle) of the columns written by Henryk Martenka from “Angora” in 2015. These are among others: humour, irony, colloquial, lexical innovation, original epithets, styling, quotes with argumentative function, rhetorical strategy questions, making understatements. They demonstrate the originality, conceptualization of subsistence of his author, his consciousness and metalinguistic reflection and bring the reader closer to world’s attitudes, opinions and values.

Analizie poddano nowe derywaty czasownikowe, tworzone od podstaw polskich i obcych, które funkcjonują głównie w odmianie potocznej i środowiskowej. O ich tworzeniu decydują aktualne potrzeby nazewnicze nadawcy, cel i funkcje w tekście. Są one wynikiem kreatywności językowej nadawcy, potrzeby ekonomiczności, kondensacji treści i kompresji formy wypowiedzi.

The subject of analysis are verbal derivatives created from Polish and foreign parent words functioning mainly in everyday life and in the community. Their creation is determined by the current onomastic needs of the speaker, the purpose and functions of the text. They are a result of language creativity of the speaker, the needs for economy, condensation of text and compression of the form of expression.

The aim of the present work was to investigate-by method of connotation- the syntactic connectibility of verbs of movement. The analysis was conducted on the contemporary material. Attention was paid to the kind:of elements syntactically dependent on the verb and functioning as its complements; with place adjunct being the most typical of them, the analysis was concentrated mainly on this kind of complement. In the case of prefixal derivatives objects were also taken into consideration because very often the presence of the prefix caused the verbs created with its use to change from intransitive into transitive, connoting at the same time the direct objects.

New verbal derivatives, previously not included in diclionaries, have appeared in modern Polish language. The above article analyses the word-formative mechanisms present in their formation (the kind of derivative and the type of derivation). In prefixal verbal derivatives of the type popotemizować, zagłosować, zdokumentować mainly the perfective properties of prefixes are brought out. In sufiixal derivatives of the type premierować, rzecznikować, tabuizować the tendency to shorten linguistic expressions, still alive in the Polish language, appears; the shortened expressions are derived from multiword expressions, e.g. premierować - być premierem (to be the Prime Minister), etc. The prefixal-suffixal derivatives, e.g. przetestować, ukameralnić, urynkowić were formed in the process of transformation of syntactic compounds involving a patiem verb, which provided the prefix for the new derivative introducing it at the same time to the whole group of derivatives with a similar structural meaning.

The authors discuss the role ambisemy (the process of reinterpretation of conceptual categories) in communication (e.g. in glottodidactics), where the negotiation of meaning takes place. They also analyze the role of ambisemy in the act of conceptualization.

Omawiana jest rola ambisemii (to proces reinterpretacji kategorii pojęciowych) w sytuacji komunikacyjnej (także o charakterze glottodydaktycznym), w której pojawia się zjawisko negocjowania znaczeń; poddane jest ono tu krytycznej analizie. Rozpatrywana jest też rola ambisemii w akcie konceptualizacji.
