The author undertook to establish the limits of copyright protection of works of architectural and architectural-town-planning nature in different forms of expressing it. In particular, the question of protection extended over such pieces of construction work at successive stages of implementation of a design was analyzed. It follows from the establishments made by the author that even advanced works at the construction site will not usually lead to the appearance of a piece of work. Therefore, in the majority of cases, making use of the existing construction elements of an investment in the course of its construction in order to complete the whole of the latter in compliance with another design will make an acceptable action.
