Po II wojnie światowej infrastruktura sportowa w większości wymagała całkowitej odbudowy, a obiekty, które przetrwały lata 1939–1945, nadawały się do kapitalnych remontów. Przez okres trzech dekad, mimo utrudnień w postaci licznych przemian organizacyjnych, politycznych i społecznych, nieustannie podejmowano działania zwiększające liczbę i jakość obiektów oraz sprzętu sportowego. Wysiłek instytucji państwowych, zakładów pracy, a także całego środowiska sportowego doprowadził w 1975 r. do sytuacji, w której liczba boisk, hal sportowych i sal gimna-stycznych, gdzie można było uprawiać gry sportowe, w podstawowym zakresie zaspokajała, w większości regionów kraju, potrzeby społeczeństwa.

This article describes the changes to the sports infrastructure in post-war increased, and their impact on the dissemination and development of basketball, volleyball and handball women during this period. The status of sports facilities that survived the operation of World War II and the Nazi occupation was that Poland in 1945 began their reconstruction of practically zero status. For a period of three decades, despite the difficulties in the form of numerous organizational, political and social change, action has been taken to increase continuously the quantity and quality of facilities, and sports equipment. The effort of State institutions, businesses, and entire sports environment in 1975 led to a situation in which the number of playing fields, sports halls and gyms where you can enjoy playing sports women, to meet most of the needs of society.
