W artykule omówiono najnowszy tom liryczny Stanisława Rogali Wschodni Wiatr, poświęcony wschodniemu pograniczu. Zbiór wpisuje się w nurt literatury o Kresach Wschodnich, który reprezentują twórcy dużego formatu: Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz, Józef Łobodowski czy Józef Czechowicz. Tytuł jest metaforyczny, wskazuje na wszystkie trudne kwestie w relacjach polsko-ukraińskich. The article discusses about the latest volume of lyrical Stanisław Rogala Wschodni Wiatr [East Wind] dedicated eastern borderland. The title theme is metaphorical, means all the difficult issues in Polish-Ukrainian relations. In lyrical reflection on the borderlands Rogala resembles wars between Poland and Cossacks, Siberian exile, the Katyn massacre, the Volhynian genocide. It remains that on the borderland born Słowacki, Kraszewski, Piłsudski, Iwaszkiewicz. The poet in his poems a dmiring the beauty of Ukrainian soil; He is looking for the relations between Ukraine and the Świętokrzyski Region.

Artykuł przybliża „matematyczny” tomik poezji Anny Błachuckiej Styczna do krzywej myśli. Zbiór, napisany przez uzdolnioną literacko emerytowaną nauczycielkę matematyki, w oryginalny sposób pokazuje związki pomiędzy matematyką i codziennym życiem, matematyką i filozofią, matematyką i polityką, wreszcie matematyką i muzyką. Tom jest zróżnicowany pod względem gatunkowym; wypełniają go fraszki, limeryki, anegdoty oraz sonety. Wiele utworów wyposażono w objaśniające ilustracje, wykonane przez Edwarda Traczyńskiego oraz uczennicę autorki, Karolinę Dobosz. Błachucka, poetka ziemi świętokrzyskiej – o czym świadczy analizowany tomik – ma ogromne poczucie humoru, często sięga po ironię, efekt komiczny osiąga dzięki homonimii wyrazowej czy paronomazji.

Article approaching ‘mathematical’ book of poetry by Anna Błachucka Styczna do krzywej myśli [Tangent to the curve thoughts]. Collection, written by talented literary retired math teacher, in an original way shows the relationship between mathematics and everyday life, mathematics and philosophy, mathematics and politics, finally, mathematics and music. Tom is diverse in terms of genre. They fill it epigrams, limericks, anecdotes and sonnets. Many tracks are equipped with explanatory illustrations, made by Edward Traczyński and the author’s student Karolina Dobosz. Błachucka, poetess of the Świetorzyski Region, has a great sense of humor, often reaches ironically, the comic effect is achieved thanks to the homonym or punning.

Stanisław Rogala (born in 1948) is a recognition writer of the Świętokrzyskie region. However, in his work there are Lublin accents; for almost 10 years the writer was associated with the Lublin region (he studied at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, participated in the poetry group „Samsara”, then he worked as a teacher at the Technical and Power Technical School in Lublin). Lublin accents frequently appear in his poetry and prose. Some poems are called “Lublin” because of the circumstances of the uprising (juvenile, lyrics from the time of „Samsara”), others deserve to be called “Lublin” because of the taken topic (Tryptyk nałęczowski, works dedicated to Longin J. Okoni). Rogala’s prose contains many accents of Lublin, the writer favors the theme of Lublin in March`68. He can present it not only objectively, but also in an original way, e.g. giving his poem a form which was a censored protocol of the audition (March snow) or by means of a metaphor (Dogs). Generally, the Lublin accents in prose are cleverer, more interesting, which proves the superiority of prose over the lyrics of Rogala.
