W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań nad bezpieczeństwem finansowym przedsiębiorstw branży spożywczej, które były notowane na Giełdzie Papierów Wartościowych w latach 2013-2015. W pierwszej kolejności podjęto rozważania teoretyczne nad bezpieczeństwem finansowym przedsiębiorstwa. Następnie skoncentrowano się na ocenie poszczególnych elementów wpływających na bezpieczeństwo finansowe. W tym celu wykorzystano wybrane wskaźniki płynności, aktywności, wystarczalności gotówkowej i zabezpieczenia rezerwami finansowymi.

The paper presents the results of research on the financial security of food companies, which were listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2015. First theoretical considerations have been taken over the financial security of the company. Then focus on an assessment of the individual elements that affect financial security.
