The article is an attempt to describe the criminal trilogy by Zygmunt Miłoszewski (Uwikłanie, Ziarno prawdy, Gniew) based on the traditional and modern, obligatory and optional features of the crime novel. In the description the elements of structural analysis were used and the possibilities of studying the crime novel as a narrative about society in the context of everyday life, relations with the place, the sphere of the intertextual and intermedial references were outlined.

Artykuł stanowi próbę opisu trylogii kryminalnej Zygmunta Miłoszewskiego (Uwikłanie, Ziarno prawdy, Gniew) ze względu na tradycyjne i nowoczesne, obligatoryjne i fakultatywne cechy powieści kryminalnej. W opisie tym wykorzystano elementy analizy strukturalnej, zarysowano też możliwości badań nad kryminałem jako narracją o społeczeństwie w kontekście codzienności, związków z miejscem, sferą intertekstualnych i intermedialnych odniesień.
