Work with lyrics in class is aimed at developing listening and speaking skills, sharing knowledge on Belarusian culture and national identity. Songs are effective in teaching language structure, in developing speaking skills and language competence. The article considers the glottodidactic value of Belarusian songs (both folk and author’s songs). The contribution contains pre-text and post-text exercises for songs “Касіў Ясь канюшыну” and “Такога няма нідзе” (lyrics by L. Pugach, music by l. Volsky).

Праца з песнямі на занятках накіраваная на развіццё навыкаў аўдыявання і гаварэння, дае веды пра беларускую культуру і нацыянальныя асаблівасці. Песня з’яўляецца эфектыўным сродкам фарміравання моўнай і маўленчай кампетэнцыі. У артыкуле разглядаецца глотадыдактычны патэнцыял беларускай песеннай творчасці (народнай і аўтарскай). Падаюцца перадтэкставыя і паслятэкставыя заданні пры працы з песнямі “Касіў Ясь канюшыну”, “Такога няма нідзе” (словы Л. Пугача, музыка Л. Вольскага).

The article discusses the problems associated with teaching Belarusian literature to Chinese students in the higher education system of China. It describes the Chinese traditions in teaching literature at school and students’ perception of literary works. A method of selection of Belarusian literary works, as well as the peculiarities of working with prose and poetry are proposed. The main emphasis is placed on the objectives of the course - to help understand the extralinguistic factors of the Belarusian mentality through the students’ acquaintance with Belarusian literature.

У артыкуле разглядаюцца праблемы, звязаныя з выкладаннем кітайскім студэнтам беларускай літаратуры ў сістэме вышэйшай адукацыі КНР. Акрэсліваецца кітайская традыцыя выкладання літаратуры ўшколе і ўспрымання літаратурных твораў навучэнцамі. Прапануецца методыка адбору беларускага літаратурнага матэрыялу, асаблівасці працы з празаічнымі і паэтычнымі тэкстамі. Асноўны акцэнт робіцца на мэце курса – праз знаёмства з беларускім мастацтвам слова даць кітайскім студэнтам разуменне экстралінгвістычных фактараў беларускай ментальнасці.
