This work is devoted to the inventory of the archive group Parafia pw. Świętego Mikołaja w Kowalewie Pomorskim (Parish of Saint Nicolas in Kowalewo Pomorskie), which is part of the holdings of the Archives of Historical Records of the Diocese of Toruń. The archive record was arranged and described between 2022 and 2023. The work consists of two parts. The first, entitled Introduction, describes the history of the founder of the archive group. The focus here is on the history of the parish in Kowalewo Pomorskie. The history of the archive group, i.e. the history of the archival materials that the parish in Kowalewo Pomorskie produced and kept, is also discussed. Another issue addressed in this section is the archival characteristics of the archive group. The chronological range of the preserved documentation, the number of archival items that made up the group and their size were analysed. The physical condition of the archival materials and the digitisation of the register books are also mentioned. There was also a focus on the content of the archive group. In addition, the paper discussed the division into series and resents which items made up each series. The last part of the Introduction is an analysis of the methods of arranging and describing the archive group. In addition, the issue of the items that were excluded from the archive group of Parafia pw. Świętego Mikołaja w Kowalewo Pomorskie was mentioned. There was also information on the structure of the archive group, the inventory cards and the reference numbers assigned to the archival items. In this section, the structure of the inventory of the actual archive group was written, and a list of series, subseries and reference numbers of the group was created. The second part of the work is an inventory of the archive group. This section lists reference numbers, titles of archival items, extreme dates, physical condition and information on making the archival material available to the public. The paper was based on unpublished archival materials and information from the literature on the subject. The research covered documentation produced by the Parish of St. Nicholas in Kowalewo Pomorskie in the years 1722-2008.

Praca jest poświęcona inwentarzowi zespołu archiwalnego Parafia pw. Świętego Mikołaja w Kowalewie Pomorskim, należącego do zasobu Archiwum Akt Dawnych Diecezji Toruńskiej. Sam zespół został opracowany w latach 2022–2023. Praca składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej, zatytułowanej Wstęp, opisano dzieje twórcy zespołu. Skupiono się tutaj na historii parafii w Kowalewie Pomorskim. Omówiono również dzieje zespołu, czyli historię materiałów archiwalnych, które wytworzyła i przechowywała parafia w Kowalewie Pomorskim. Kolejnym zagadnieniem, które poruszono w tej część inwentarza, to charakterystyka archiwalna zespołu. Przeanalizowano zakres chronologiczny zachowanej dokumentacji, liczbę jednostek archiwalnych, które weszły w skład zespołu, oraz ich objętość. Wspomniano również o stanie fizycznym materiałów archiwalnych oraz o digitalizacji ksiąg metrykalnych. Skoncentrowano się także na zawartości zespołu archiwalnego, gdzie omówiono podział na serie oraz jakie jednostki weszły w skład poszczególnych serii. Ostatnia część Wstępu to analiza metod opracowania zespołu archiwalnego. Poruszono kwestię jednostek, które wyłączono z zespołu archiwalnego Parafia pw. Świętego Mikołaja w Kowalewie Pomorskim. Wspomniano również o układzie zespołu, kartach inwentarzowych oraz sygnaturach, jakie nadano jednostkom archiwalnym. W tejże części napisano o strukturze inwentarza właściwego zespołu, a także stworzono wykaz serii, podserii i sygnatur zespołu archiwalnego. Druga część pracy to inwentarz właściwy zespołu archiwalnego. W tym fragmencie wymieniono: sygnatury archiwalne, tytuły jednostek archiwalnych, daty skrajne, formę fizyczną oraz informację o udostępnieniu materiałów archiwalnych. Praca została napisana w oparciu o niepublikowane materiały archiwalne i informację z literatury przedmiotu. Kwerendą objęto dokumentację wytworzoną przez Parafię pw. Świętego Mikołaja w Kowalewie Pomorskim w latach 1722–2008.
