Artykuł „Spojrzenie Orfeusza” jest rodzajem protestu przeciw odrzucaniu przez czytelników tekstów poetyckich, które sprawiają trudności interpretacyjne. Autorka próbuje odnaleźć klucz do współczesnych utworów metapoetyckich, by poznać nie tylko świat poety, ale także warunki decydujące o kształcie tego świata, czyli pewne praktyki pisarskie. Pokazuje, jak w procesie lektury wejść w role: czytelnika, wykonawcy i badacza.

The article ‘The Gaze of Orpheus’ is a form of a protest against the reader’s rejection of texts of poetry which generate interpretative dilemmas. The author attempts to find a key to contemporary metapoetic compositions not only to explore the poet’s universe but also in order to detect the conditions determining its nature, i.e. certain practices of composition. The author reveals how in the process of reading one may switch between the roles of the reader, maker and explorer.
