Artykuł przedstawia wyniki badań dotyczące definicyjnego ujęcia Innego, źródeł wiedzy oraz osobistych doświadczeń badanych odnoszących się do osób odmiennych kulturowo. W pierwszej części artykułu autorka przybliża pojęcie inności i obcości oraz opisuje zjawisko odmienności kulturowej i tolerancji w obszarze edukacji. W dalszej części znajduje się prezentacja wyników badań własnych, których analiza udziela odpowiedzi na pytanie „Kim jest Inny?” w perspektywi nauczycieli oraz studentów pedagogiki.

The article contains the results of research on the definition of the Other, the sources of knowledge and personal experiences of respondents related to cultural otherness. In the first part of the article, the authoress introduces the concept of Otherness and Strangeness and describes the phenomenon of cultural diversity and tolerance in the field of education. Further part of the article presents the results of own research whose analysis answers the question "Who is the Other?" in the perspective of teachers and students of pedagogy.
