The parish in Wola Osowińska was established in 1930 by Bishop Henryk Przeździecki. But for the chapel founded by the then owners of the Wola Osowińska estate, its establishment would not have been possible. The status of Wola Osowińska, inhabited by nearly 1,3000 people, was also significant. In the village there were many institutions such as: the Public School, Fire Brigade or Farmers’ Association. The author shows difficulties faced by the parish founders and successive priests, who had a great impact on the life in the village. Moreover, one can see transformations that took place in the parish beside dynamic events in Europe and all over the world. The climatic point for the village came when the erection of the new temple was completed, that is seventy years after the parish foundation.
