The paper is focused on producing classical key orientations within description of managerial abilities and qualifications. The article presents pre-taylorian approaches into managerial qualifications, differential factors of classical typologies and four orientations within description of managerial qualifications.
The paper aims at presenting the dominating orientations in identifying the workers skills. Within the frameworh of such defined topic the specificity of workers activities in classical organisation is presented with regard to hierarchical and horizontal work division. Three ways of determination of requirements the workers have to meet were considered as well.
