The article is devoted to analyzing the concept of security in the face of the ongoing armed conflict on Ukrainian territory. The concept of security itself is vast, but in the era of the war in Ukraine the approach to certain threats is changing dramatically. It is also important to keep in mind that in addition to military threats, we are exposed to threats arising from critical infrastructure. An example was the recent phenomenon of flooding that occurred in the southern area of Poland. We also face parallel threats from both the military and non-military side. The article presents recommendations for future measures to minimize threats more effectively. Within the framework of the topic at hand, a research problem was formulated: what are the main threats to Poland’s security from military and non-military threats? To answer the question thus posed, a hypothesis was formulated: the main threats to Poland’s security from military and non-military threats generate an increase in border (criminal) crime and an increase in robbery crimes. In order to answer the problem question, research methods such as critical analysis of the literature, analysis of legal acts and documents, websites and statistics from the Border Guard Headquarters, the Police Headquarters or the State Fire Service Headquarters were used.

Artykuł poświęcony jest analizie pojęcia bezpieczeństwa w obliczu toczącego się konfliktu zbrojnego na terytorium Ukrainy. Samo pojęcie bezpieczeństwa jest bardzo pojemne, jednak w dobie wojny w Ukrainie zmienia się diametralnie podejście do niektórych zagrożeń. Należy również pamiętać, że oprócz zagrożeń militarnych jesteśmy narażeni na ryzyka wynikające z niewłaściwego funkcjonowania infrastruktury krytycznej. Za przykład może posłużyć zjawisko powodzi, które wystąpiło ostatnio na południowym obszarze Polski. Powyższe obrazuje, że mamy do czynienia z równoległym występowaniem zagrożeń zarówno militarnych, jak i niemilitarnych. W artykule przedstawione zostają rekomendacje dotyczące przyszłych działań, mających na celu skuteczniejsze minimalizowanie kwestii zagrożeń bezpieczeństwa. W ramach omawianego tematu sformułowano problem badawczy: Jakie są główne zagrożenia dla bezpieczeństwa Polski, wynikające zarówno z zagrożeń militarnych i niemilitarnych? Na tak postawione pytanie sformułowano hipotezę: Główne kwestie dla bezpieczeństwa Polski wynikające z zagrożeń militarnych i niemilitarnych generują wzrost przestępczości granicznej (kryminalnej) oraz wzrost przestępstw na tle rabunkowym. W celu odpowiedzi na pytanie problemowe posłużono się metodami badawczymi, takimi jak krytyczna analiza literatury, analiza aktów prawnych i dokumentów, stron internetowych oraz statystyk Komendy Głównej Straży Granicznej, Komendy Głównej Policji czy Komendy Głównej Państwowej Straży Pożarnej.
