Carl and Gerhart Hauptmann. The challenging relationship of the brothers. My article is based on my dissertation entitled Transcription and commentary on Maria Rohne’s letters adressed to Carl Hauptmann in the years 1907-1921. The dissertation was prepared as a part of German-Polish project aiming to research the literary legacy of Carl Hauptmann. In my article I’m focusing on the complex and challenging relationship of Carl and Gerhart Hauptmann. Moreover, special attention is drawn to the period of Carl and Gerhart Hauptmann’s childhood and schooldays, then career decisions and their literary work. The article attempts to analyse the entire life of Carl and Gerhart Hauptmann; still, the main emphasis is placed on their difficult relations. The article aim to familiarise readers with Gehart and Carl Hauptmann, whose work has remained overshadowed by the popularity of the younger brother – Gerhart Hauptmann.

The walk is an educational activity conducted by the cooperating teachers. It enables deep insight into the process of teaching and learning. It’s essence is the willingness of teachers to go beyond the traditional concepts of vocational training, which is based on the ability to application of theoretical knowledge in practice. The new idea implies the existence of patients improving to a specific type of reflection. Both if they occupy in the case, and after the end of a work step. This is “reflection in action” and “reflection on action”.

Spacer edukacyjny jest działaniem prowadzonym przez współpracujących ze sobą nauczycieli. Umożliwia głęboki wgląd w proces nauczania i uczenia się. Jego istotą jest gotowość nauczycieli do wyjścia poza tradycyjną koncepcję doskonalenia zawodowego, którego podstawę stanowi umiejętność aplikacji wiedzy teoretycznej w praktyce. Nowa idea zakłada występowanie u osób doskonalących się szczególnego rodzaju refleksji. Zarówno gdy zajmują się one danym przypadkiem, jak i po zakończeniu pewnego etapu pracy. Jest to „refleksja w działaniu” i „refleksja nad działaniem”.
