The article presents selected results of survey research conducted by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute for Sustainable Technologies in Radom, regarding potential possibilities of cooperation between institutes and research centers with the Industry Skills Center No. 2 in Radom operating in the field of industrial automation. The study was conducted in 2024 on a deliberately selected group of 10 institutes and research centers. The research was carried out as part of the project “Creation and support for the functioning of an industry skills center for the electronics and mechatronics industry in the field of industrial automation (BCUBEM)” (no. KPO/22/1/BCU/W/0063) financed by the National Reconstruction and Resilience Program, Component A “Resilience and competitiveness of the economy”, Intervention A3.1.1 “Support for the development of modern vocational education, higher education and lifelong learning”. Respondents answered, among others: to questions regarding cooperation between institutes and research centers with schools providing education in vocational education professions and with the Industry Skills Center No. 2 in Radom. The conducted research made it possible, among other things, to obtain knowledge on identifying potential partners for cooperation with BCU, the scope of cooperation and proposals for expanding the BCU training offer
