Wychodząc z uznawania neologizmów za charakterystyczne „rejestratory epok”, obiektem rozpatrzenia czyni się nową leksykę języka polskiego II poł. XX – pocz. XXI w., traktowaną jako świadectwo konkretnego czasu społecznego. Przedstawiając − zgodnie z celem artykułu − realia życia i pracy w świetle słownictwa i frazeologii, ukazuje się określone sfery życia społecznego i okoliczności funkcjonowania w przestrzeni społecznej.

Starting with the recognition of neologisms as characteristic “recorders of epochs”, the object of consideration is the new lexis of the Polish language of the second half of the 20th century through early 21st century, treated as a testimony to a specific social time. By presenting, in line with the aim of the article, the realities of life and work in the light of vocabulary and phraseology, it is to demonstrate the specific spheres of social life and the circumstances of functioning in the social space.

This article shows interlingual references in the context of toponyms of borderlands. Synthesizing approach reflects specificity of Polish-Ruthenian borderland concerning onymic categories of linguistic and cultural sign in the borderland, specific features of toponyms in Polish-Eastern- Slavonic borderland, and the analysis of the oikonymy in Polish-Ruthenian borderland. The latter cognitive complex basically includes following matters: research on the toponyms of Polish- Ruthenian borderland, the way their formation was influenced by the contacts of various ethnolects, the conditioning of toponymy in Polish-Eastern-Slavonic borderland, the localisation of toponyms, transitional oikonymic system, coexistence of official and unofficial names, translation of toponyms.

This article deals with the paremiological and phraseological units constructed on the basis of antiphrase. Taking into account the fact that the antiphrastic meanings implied by them are based on the choice of specific prototype, the aim of the research is to present the complexes of categories that define the rules of notions and their prototypes in Russian paroemia and phraseology. In more general meaning, the analyses presented in this article relates to the theme of prototype in the linguistic picture of the world.
