The dissemination of information and communication technologies and the development of the information society have moved many forms of social life to the digital space - cyberspace. Limited or no possibility to use modern forms of communication is referred to as the phenomenon of digital exclusion. The number of people at risk of exclusion constitutes a significant percentage of Polish society. Artificial intelligence and algorithms help us make all sorts of decisions. There is a need to counteract digital exclusion; the leading role here belongs to government and local government institutions as well as associations and foundations.
