Artykuł opisuje funkcjonowanie bibliotek więziennych zwracając uwagę na aspekty prawne, sposób prowadzenia bibliotek począwszy od gromadzenia, opracowania, udostępniania zbiorów. Podkreślone zostało znaczenie bibliotek w prowadzeniu działalności i realizowaniu programów edukacyjno-resocjalizacyjnych. Tekst akcentuje potrzebę czytelnictwa wśród osób pozostających w izolacji więziennej jako formę profilaktyki.

The article presents the functioning of prison libraries, with special attention paid to legal aspects and the way of managing libraries, starting from building collections, developing, and making them available. The importance of libraries in conducting educational and resocialization activities and implementing educational and resocialization programs is emphasized. The text highlights the need for reading among persons remaining in prison isolation as a form of prevention.

The aim of this article is to analyze the role of NGOs in organizing public opposition to trade liberalisation on the example of the campaign against TTIP and CETA in Germany. The study was divided into two parts. The first part analyses the increasing importance of NGOs in trade policy, using as an example the actions against the multilateral trading system of the WTO and the chosen preferential trade arrangements. The second part of the study focuses on non-state actors’ activities in Germany opposing the CETA and TTIP negotiations.
