Szkolnictwo wyższe i nauka stały się obecnie przedmiotem zarówno badań naukowych, jak i działań empirycznych w Polsce. Działania te mają na celu korektę niedopasowania polskiej nauki i szkolnictwa wyższego do powstających na świecie zmian. Implikuje to potrzebę rekonfiguracji modelu biznesu prowadzonego przez wydział nauk ekonomicznych uczelni akademickiej. Celem badań była diagnoza obecnego stanu i sformułowanie myśli strategicznej zmiany modelu biznesu. Zastosowano następujący aparat naukowy: wnioskowanie indukcyjne i dedukcyjne, analizę literatury, badania ankietowe, foresight, słabe sygnały. Wywód oparto na istocie modelu biznesu, potrzebie jego rekonfiguracji i poszukiwaniu słabych sygnałów wskazujących na potencjalne kierunki przyszłych zmian. Zastosowanie radaru skanującego pozwoliło na wyłonienie słabych sygnałów zawartych w opiniach badanych studentów. Połączenie ich z technologią blockchain rzuca nieostre światło na funkcjonowanie edukacji za 25 lat.

Higher education and science have now become the subject of scientific research as well as empirical activities in Poland. These actions are aimed at reducing the mismatch of Polish science and higher education to the changes occurring in the world. This implies the need to reconfigure the business model run by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of university. The aim of the research was to diagnose the current state and formulate the thought of a strategic change in the business model. The following scientific apparatus was applied: inductive and deductive reasoning, literature analysis, questionnaire research, foresight, weak signals. The evidence is based on the essence of the business model, the need for its reconfiguration, the search for weak signals indicating potential directions of future changes. The use of scanning radar allowed for the identification of weak signals contained in the opinions of the surveyed students. Combining them with blockchain technology casts out the light on the functioning of education in 25 years.

This article aims at searching for the answer to the question: can the coher-ence of the business model be of use in the early warning of the upcoming crisis? In order to achieve this objective, the definition and the concept of the business model were formulated, as well as its structure was depicted. It was indicated as necessary to measure the external, internal and overall correlation of the business model, and the reference point should be the coherence optimum of business models. If a coherence measure indicates the deviation from the adopt-ed business model optimum, it can be interpreted as the occurrence of incoherence, which is a symptom of the crisis.
