Article is dealing with the topic of family of child with disability during pandemic Covid-19 in Poland. Author is doing theoretical analyst of pandemic phenomena as the type of critical situation and presenting research prepared by her. The main goal of this research was the reconstruction of meanings for given situations that occurs in family of child with disability and was triggered by the mother. Research was conducted in qualitative strategy. During analysis author reveals key categories in the problem perspective. Those categories are presented in the article. Study of the mother in situation that all family was involved because of the pandemic Covid-19, gives both positive and negative meanings. It appears that this time seems to be very valuable for their thinking of their own lives.

Artykuł podejmuje temat sytuacji rodziny dziecka z niepełnosprawnością podczas pandemii COVID-19 w Polsce. Autorka dokonuje analizy teoretycznej zjawiska pandemii jako sytuacji kryzysowej oraz przestawia przeprowadzone przez siebie badanie. Celem badania była rekonstrukcja znaczeń nadawanych sytuacji, w jakiej znalazła się rodzina dziecka z niepełnosprawnością przez matkę dziecka. Badanie przeprowadzono w strategii jakościowej. W toku analizy autorka wyłoniła kategorie kluczowe w perspektywie problemów badawczych, prezentowane są one w artykule. Badane matki w sytuacji, w jakiej znalazła się ich rodzina ze względu na pandemię COVID-19, nadają zarówno znaczenia pozytywne, jak i negatywne. Czas ten jednak wydaje się być bardzo wartościowy dla ich myślenia o własnym życiu.

Social and cultural transformations determine the functioning of a disabled child’s family. The Internet, support groups or associations are the new normalisation tools parents can use. They can affect both the structure of his or her parenting as well as the process of coping in difficult situations. The author analyses the social and emotional situation of parents of children with disabilities, based on her research. They describe the significant categories and areas important for further scientific exploration.

Część analityczną artykułu uzupełnia nawiązanie do badań własnych dotyczących znaczeń nadawanych inkluzji dziecka przez matki dzieci z niepełnosprawnością sprzężoną i trudnościami w komunikowaniu. Artykuł kończą implikacje zaangażowanych działań rodzica dla pedagogiki specjalnej, zwłaszcza w obszarze edukacji dziecka z niepełnosprawnością.
