One of the main trends of research on labor market issues, which in the last decade is becoming very popular among researchers is the effect of educational level on the situation of workers in the labor market, including the employees of the logistics industry. Education today is a good specific, which forms a part of human capital. Some specific features, level of education and personal skills logisticians largely determine the position of insider or an outsider in the labor market. This article aims to show the role of education in shaping the labor market with particular emphasis on the challenges and expectations that in recent years there before employees of the logistics industry.

Poland conforms to the guidelines from the Bologna Process in European higher education. The degree system based on the three-cycle structure has been successfully implemented together with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The European standard in higher education makes it easier for students to obtain recognition of their qualifications in other countries. The aim of this paper is to present the role of the higher education system in context of construction of the European knowledge economy.

The concept of inequality is interpreted in different ways and to the use of different measurement methods. The key is proper selection of tools that will truly look at the national inequalities and respond to the emerging dilemma: gender and height. It is also the basis for the revision of the Washington Consensus and to present a positive or negative correlation resulting from the Kuznets law. The paper presents a theoretical discussion of the methods of measuring income inequality, which, depending on your choice to decide on the scale of income disparities.

W artykule podjęto próbę umiejscowienia sztucznych sieci neuronowych w praktyce gospodarczej oraz ukazania szeroko rozumianej sieciowości jako instrumentu, który zajmuje istotne miejsce w tworzeniu społeczeństwa innowacyjnego, wyko-rzystującego nowoczesne technologie oraz wiedzę w tym zakresie. Na podstawie litera-tury przedmiotu dotyczącej wykorzystywania sztucznych sieci neuronowych w ekonomii można wskazać podstawowe grupy tematyczne, w których z powodzeniem odnajdują się sztuczne sieci neuronowe.

Implementation of complex methods and tools for the needs of the economy becomes possible through the use of appropriate models of neural networks that belong to the influenza artificial intelligence methods. The purpose of this article is an attempt to present the role and importance of artificial neural ne-tworks (ANN) in predicting and describing economic phenomena.

W niektórych obszarach działalności organizacji obserwujemy zmianę w sposobach podejmowania decyzji zarządczych, polegającą na stopniowym odchodzeniu od aspektów kosztowych jak o głównego wyznacznika efektywnościowego w kierunku wzmacniania argumentów związanych z ogólnie rozumianym dobrem klienta czy beneficjenta. Co za tym idzie, sukces podmiotu funkcjonującego w takich uwarunkowaniach wymaga nie tylko redefiniowania wiązki celów zarządczych, ale również dysponowania odpowiednio dobraną kadrą, posiadającą zarówno kompetencje zawodowe sensu striclo, ja k i kompetencje społeczne. W tak zarysowanym obrazie na rynku pracy poszukiwani są menedżerowie logistyki wrażliwi społecznie.

In some areas activities o f the organization we observe a change in the methods ot management decision-making. It can be explained in part by gradual abandonment o f cost aspects, as the main determinant o f the efficiency, in order to strengthen the arguments related with generally understood good customcr or beneficiary. Conseąuently the success o f the entity operating in such circumstances requires not only a redefinition o f the beam management purposes but also disposability appropriately selected staff. This sta ff must have both professional competence in the strict sense as well as social competence (or, more broadly - social-emotional). Therefore, job market sees growing demand for socially sensitive iogistics managers.
