Zarządzanie bezpieczeństwem i prawna ochrona interesów składa się z działań w sekwencji logicznych w celu zapobieżenia lub minimalizacji zagrożeń, manifestację bezpieczeństwa i zagrożeń, które powodują wiktymizację obywateli, Istota zarządzania bezpieczeństwem i prawna ochrona interesów opiera się głównie na realizacji profilaktycznych środków przeciwko realnym zagrożeniom dla życia i zdrowia osób, majątku, praw i legalnych interesów osób fizycznych i podmiotów prawnych. Nauki o bezpieczeństwie i nauki prawne koncentrują się również na zarządzaniu bezpieczeństwem i ochronie prawa karnego także w zakresie interesów.

The security management and law protection of interests are made up by the logic sequence steps to prevent the manifestation or minimising of the security hazards and threats that cause the victimization of citizens, threaten the properties of citizens and societies, or otherwise act against the interests of citizens, social groups and societies. The essence of security management and law protection of interests is based primarily on the implementation of prophylactic measures against real threats to life and health of persons, property, rights and lawful interests of individuals and legal entities. The Security Sciences and Law Sciences are focused on the security management and criminal law protection of interests‘ agenda too.

Civil aviation, similar to other economy sectors, is exposed to cyber-attacks. In this case however, the protection against cybersecurity threats is gaining particular significance, as the industry relies heavily on the use of information systems (information and communication systems with electronic data processed in such systems). The systems are exposed to incidents. Incidents in civil aviation are events occurring in cyberspace which affect, or might potentially affect, the security of aircraft. The issue of cybersecurity in civil aviation is discussed in the context of legal regulations that are in force in Poland and Slovakia. Individual solutions aimed at ensuring the cybersecurity of air transport were analysed.

The quality and safety are the key attributes in the traffic and transport processes in the aviation, general aviation and the military aviation activities. Prevention of accidents with a human focus is an important means of the flight safety management to achieve and implement the flight safety policy, in accordance with the mission and tasks of each air operator. The aviation practice identifies the problems of pedagogical didactic research that we are able to realize within the framework of a comprehensive didactic system of aviation education of selected personnel, in the favor of strengthening the level of accident prevention, the quality and safety in the aviation activities.

The international community is making increased efforts to tackle the global pandemic of the COVID-19 virus, which is destroying society’s highest protected interest - human lives and endangering the population. The economy of each state are also secondarily affected. Some sectors have created and are creating a potential threat to support the spread of the corona virus. Unfortunately, the Transport sector and the Air Transport sub-sector are among such entities. The article presents the first part of a research study aimed at identifying the research problem of applied research in air transport and a description of the research intention to solve the problem.

The paper presents knowledge in the field of professional and legal implementation of building a strong cyber security of the European Union at the national level of a Member State, in the context of the implementation of a new legal norm on cyber security of the state. Part of the expert knowledge is the implementation of the law and the response to the praxeological problems of cyber security in the critical infrastructure sectors, including the TRANSPORT sector, resp. Air transport, as part of flight education.

This article focuses on cyberthreats in Ukraine, Poland and Slovakia. As the ICT system in a digital state plays an important role, states are obliged to ensure their adequate protection. Interference with the proper functioning of such systems can have farreaching consequences, potentially leading to the paralysis of specific economic sectors. The continually emerging cyberthreats, their intensity and types trigger the need to constantly monitor the phenomena occurring in cyberspace. With such monitoring cyberattacks can be countered and their destructive outcomes avoided. The article indicates, inter alia, the types of cybersecurity incidents and their frequency.

The article presents the issue of protection of the security interests of the state with an emphasis on the protection of information, which is a key challenge in the digital age. It has an irreplaceable place, especially in matters of national security of the state. The article respects national knowledge and practice in the context of the agenda of international organizations.
