The purpose of the following article is to present the history of the charity care of Church in Dobrzyń area until the XIX century. There were then hospitals built for the poor, where the needy received care and assistance. In the region there were 9 hospitals located in the following places: Bobrowniki, Ciechocin, Chełmica Wielka, Dobrzejewice, Nowogród, Ostrowite, Szpetal, Zaduszniki, Złotoria. All hospitals remained under the guardianship of the clergy

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie historii opieki Kościoła na Ziemi Dobrzyńskiej do XIX. Dla wszystkich ubogich zakładano szpitale, gdzie otrzymywali oni pomoc i opiekę. Na tym terenie było dziewięć szpitali w następujących miejscowościach: Bobrowniki, Ciechocin, Chełmica Wielka, Dobrzejewice, Nowogród, Ostrowite, Szpetal, Zaduszniki, Złotoria.
