Life of every person consists of several spheres. One of them is the professional sphere, which determines the life of an individual to a large extent. Many factors determine the choice of the educational and professional paths. Among them there is a career counsellor who can play a critical role in the process. This article outlines the role of a career counsellor who can help young people to make important life choices. The authors are aware that the paper is not exhaustive, but only introduces the problem discussed.

Artykuł koncentruje się na tematyce jakości zdalnego kształcenia na poziomieszkolnictwa wyższego. Dynamice rozwoju tej formy edukacji sprzyjał rozwój technologii cyfrowych i coraz powszechniejszy dostęp do szerokopasmowego Internetu. Istotną rolę ma tu również przenoszenie (i powszechna akceptacja z tym związana) wielu sfer aktywności człowieka docyfrowego odpowiednika realnego świata. Wybuch pandemii wywołanej COVID-19 masowo zmusił do implementacji szkolnictwa w ten wirtualny świat. Umożliwiło to realizację programów kształcenia bez naruszania jego ciągłości. Jednakże gwałtowność oraz ogromna skala tychże działań stawia pod znakiem zapytania poziom ich jakości. W publikacji dokonano prezentacji zgromadzonych wyników badań w niniejszym zakresie. Autorzy mają świadomość, iż zamieszczone treści stanowią jedynie zarys poruszanej problematyki.

The article focuses on the quality of distance learning at the higher education level. The dynamics of the development of this form of education was fostered by the growth of digital technologies and the increasing access to broadband Internet. An important role is also played by the transfer (and universal acceptance related to it) of many spheres of human activity to the digital equivalent of the real world. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has massively forced the implementation of education in this virtual world. This made it possible to implement educational programs without disturbing its continuity. However, the violence and the huge scale of these activities call into question the level of their quality. The publication presents the collected research results in this field. The authors are aware that the posted content is only an outline of the issues discussed.

W publikacji przeanalizowano stan przygotowania polskich uczelni wyższych do kształcenia studentów z niepełnosprawnością. Na podstawie dotychczasowych badań i raportów uwzględniono tutaj zarówno przygotowanie uczelni pod kątem szeroko rozumianego przystosowania, w tym likwidacji barier architektonicznych, jak i dostosowań programowych, umiejętności i kompetencji kadry dydaktycznej i administracyjnej oraz innych kroków podjętych w celu zapewnienia studentom z niepełnosprawnością równego dostępu do edukacji.

The article analyses the state of preparation of Polish universities for the education of the students with disabilities. Based on the previous research and reports, it discusses the preparation of the university for the broadly understood adaptation, including the elimination of architectural barriers, programme adjustments, the skills and competencies of teaching and administrative staff and other steps taken to ensure equal access to education for students with disabilities.
