Coordination has become a significant factor of the integration of various parts of the organization as well as various organizations of the supply chain. This seems to be a key factor in the success of logistics management. The article present results of investigations conducted by the authors in the field of coordination of supply chains. The presented research works are carried out under the LOGOS project “Model of coordination of virtual supply chains meeting the requirements of corporate social responsibility” under the grant agreement number PBS1/B9/17/2013. The article has been divided into two main parts - the first part presents the coordination theory, the second part is devoted to the description of the research conducted by the author. The publication ends with a summary presenting the conclusions from the conducted research. The presented text is of a research nature.

Praca składa się z następujących części: część pierwsza została poświęcona systemom zaś druga przesłankom podjęcia tematu z odniesieniem do teorii koordynacji (działań). Część kolejna prezentuje wyniki badań, które dotyczą współwystępowania techniki negocjacji (jako najbardziej popularnej) i wybranych technik koordynacji działań. Publikację kończy podsumowanie, które prezentuje wnioski z przeprowadzonego badania. Prezentowany tekst ma charakter badawczy.

This article deals with the impact of storage conditions on the stored PVC material. The purpose is to determine the causes of qualitative defects of materials, assortment used during storage process, specify how to repair the defects. Another aim is to make recommendations to rectify the risk of damage in the future.The work consists of the following parts: The first part characterizes the storage conditions of PVC materials and articles. Definitions of a damage and a defect were defined and their impact on the quality of materials and articles was discussed. Causes of quality defects during storage were selected. The next part presents the results of the research. The ways of repairing the most common damage are outlined. Lastly, recommendations aimed at levelling the risk of loss of quality of materials, product range in the future were presented. The publication ends with a summary presenting the conclusions from the conducted research. The presented text is of a research nature.

Artykuł dotyczy wpływu warunków magazynowania na przechowywany materiał z PCV. Celem jest ustalenie przyczyn powstawania ubytków jakościowych materiałów podczas procesu magazynowania, określenie sposobu napraw ubytków. Ustalenie zaleceń niwelujących ryzyko powstawania uszkodzeń w przyszłości. Praca składa się z następujących części: W części pierwszej scharakteryzowano warunki magazynowania materiałów i wyrobów z PCV. Zdefiniowano uszkodzenie, wadę oraz omówiono ich wpływ na jakość materiałów i wyrobów. Wytypowano przyczyny powstawania wad jakościowych podczas procesu magazynowania. Część kolejna prezentuje przeprowadzone wyniki badań. Wskazano sposoby naprawy najczęściej występujących uszkodzeń oraz przedstawiono zalecenia, których celem jest zredukowanie ryzyka powstawania ubytków jakościowych materiałów oraz asortymentu w przyszłości. Całość kończy podsumowanie, które prezentuje najważniejsze wnioski. Prezentowany tekst ma charakter badawczy.

The type of packaging plays a key role in the costs associated with the transport of goods. Proper selection of packaging for the product can minimize the potential risks associated with the transport of these goods, increase the efficiency and reliability of logistics processes, and enable cost reduction. The work involved the analysis of selected logistic indicators, both cost and quality. As a result of the analysis, a more effective logistic solution was indicated. The conducted analysis confirmed that optimally adjusted and used packaging contributes to lowering costs and improving the quality and safety of flows within the supply chain.

Rodzaj opakowania odgrywa kluczową rolę w kosztach powiązanych z transportowaniem towarów. Właściwy dobór opakowań do wyrobu może zminimalizować ewentualne zagrożenia związane z przewozem tych towarów, zwiększyć sprawność i niezawodność procesów logistycznych, a także umożliwić redukcję kosztów. W pracy przeprowadzona została analiza wybranych wskaźników logistycznych, zarówno kosztowych, jak i jakościowych. W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy wskazano efektywniejsze rozwiązanie logistyczne. Przeprowadzona analiza potwierdziła, że właściwe dopasowane i wykorzystywanie opakowań przyczynia się do obniżenia kosztów oraz poprawy jakości i bezpieczeństwa przepływów towarów w ramach łańcucha dostaw.
