Artykuł przedstawia wybrane aspekty wdrażania Inteligentnego Systemu Transportowego we Wrocławiu. Ukazano nacisk, jaki władze miejskie wywarły na skoordynowanie inwestycji związanych z odciążeniem układu transportowego od ruchu kołowego oraz uprzywilejowaniu tramwajów. Zwrócono również uwagę, w jaki sposób uzyskano zmianę postrzegania transportu publicznego, z uciążliwego na relatywnie wygodny sposób dokonywania przemieszczeń w mieście.

The paper presents some aspects of the Intelligent Transport System implementation in Wroclaw. It shows the pressure, which the municipal authorities had to coordinate investments related to the traffic reduction on the roads and preference for trams. It was also noted how the change in the perception of public transport was obtained – from annoying to a relatively comfortable way of movements in the city.
