Das semantische Merkmal der Zustandsänderung und seine formdifferenzierende Wirkung am Beispiel des Deutschen und des Polnischen

The present paper deals with change of state as a semantic feature and the formal consequences deriving from it with respect to German and Polish word building. It could be shown that in Polish resultativeness as well as its counterpart causativity are always morphologically marked thus giving rise to a perfective verb, whereas in German change of state does not necessarily lead to the creation of a separate verbal item requiring the adding of a prefix to the basis.

In dem vorliegenden Beitrag wurde das semantische Merkmal der Zustandsänderung auf seine wortbildenden Wirkung hin untersucht und dabei das Deutsche mit dem Polnischen verglichen. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass im Polnischen sowohl Resultativität als auch Kausativität stets formdifferenzierend ausschlagen und zur Bildung eines perfektiven Verbs führen, während Zustandsänderung im Deutschen nicht unbedingt immer morphologisch markiert sein muss, sondern sehr wohl auch zusammen mit ihrem Gegenteil im Basisverb aufgehen kann.
