Celem pierwszej części artykułu jest prezentacja wyników badań nad sytuacją dziecka w rodzinie dysfunkcyjnej, określenie roli, jaką przyjmuje dziecko w takiej rodzinie oraz konsekwencji wynikających z braku odpowiednich warunków do właściwego rozwoju. Druga część artykułu określa rolę katechety w edukacji ucznia żyjącego w rodzinie dotkniętej dysfunkcją. Wskazuje na przyczynę trudności, z którymi spotyka się katecheta uczący dziecko z rodziny dysfunkcyjnej oraz omawia niektóre metody działania katechety ukierunkowane na dobro tego ucznia.

The aim of the first part of the article is to present the results of research on the situation of a child in a dysfunctional family, to determine the role of the child in such a family and the consequences resulting from the lack of appropriate conditions for proper development. The second part of the article describes the role of the catechist towards a student living in a family affected by dysfunction. It points out the reason for the difficulties encountered by the catechist teaching a child from the dysfunctional family and discusses some methods of catechetical action directed at the good of this student.
