Celem prezentowanych badań była ocena dotychczasowych działań i inwestycji gminy w zakresie kształtowania i ochrony krajobrazowej oraz oszacowanie zamierzeń gminy w tym zakresie na przyszłość przez respondentów. Pomiary wykonano z zastosowaniem metody sondażowej, a technikami były badania ankietowe wśród mieszkańców gminy i turystów, a także wywiad przeprowadzony z przedstawicielem Urzędu Miejskiego w Sępólnie Krajeńskim. Badania przeprowadzono w sierpniu oraz wrześniu 2017 roku. W badaniach wzięło udział ogółem 217 respondentów, w tym: 140 to mieszkańcy gminy, zarówno przedstawiciele miasta jak i wsi na terenie gminy, a także 77 turystów i osób przebywających na badanym obszarze w celach służbowych. Przeprowadzone badania pozwoliły na stwierdzenie, że gmina Sępólno Krajeńskie realizuje wiele działań w zakresie kształtowania i ochrony krajobrazu. Zdaniem respondentów badana gmina ma wiele walorów krajobrazowych, kulturowych i historycznych, które jednak nie są zwykle odpowiednio zadbane i wyeksponowane. Pomimo realizacji wielu zadań w zakresie kształtowania i ochrony krajobrazu, istnieje wiele aspektów, na które władze samorządowe powinny zwrócić większą uwagę przy kolejnych planowanych inwestycjach. Ważną kwestią, dotąd zaniedbywaną przez władze gminy, jest organizacja konsultacji z mieszkańcami gminy, którzy powinni pełnić istotną funkcję w kreowaniu przestrzeni w jakiej żyją, a także brak jest odpowiedniej informacji dotyczącej czasu oraz miejsca takich spotkań.

The aim of the presented study was the respondents’ assessment of the actions and investments of the commune undertaken so far in the field of landscaping and landscape protection, and the evaluation of the commune’s future targets in this area. Measurements were made using the survey method, and the techniques used included questionnaire surveys carried out among the residents of the commune and tourists, as well as an interview conducted with a representative of the Municipal Office in Sępólno Krajeńskie. The surveys were conducted in August and September 2017. A total of 217 respondents participated in the survey, including: 140 residents of the commune, both representatives of the town and villages within the commune, as well as 77 tourists and people staying in the surveyed area for business purposes. The conducted surveys have led to the conclusion that the Sępólno Krajeńskie commune carries out many activities in the field of landscaping and landscape protection. In the opinion of respondents, the surveyed commune has many natural, cultural, and historical values, which, however, are usually not well-cared-for and exposed. Despite the implementation of many tasks in the field of landscaping and landscape protection, there are many aspects that local authorities should pay more attention to in subsequent planned investments. An important issue, so far neglected by the commune authorities, is holding consultations with the commune’s residents, who should play an important role in creating the space in which they live, and there is no relevant information on the time and place of such meetings.

Prezentowane badania przeprowadzono w maju i czerwcu 2019 roku w gminie Brześć Kujawski w województwie kujawsko-pomorskim. Na podstawie udostępnionej przez władze samorządowe gminy dokumentacji wykonano analizę inwestycji i ocenę projektów zrealizowanych przy wsparciu środków UE w badanej gminie.

The presented research was conducted in May and June 2019, in the Brześć Kujawski commune in the Kujawy-Pomerania Province. Based on the documentation shared by the local government authorities, an analysis of investments as well as assessment of projects implemented with the support of EU funds in the studied commune were conducted.
