Apart from the theoretical foundations, the article presents the results of the research on the determinants of religiousness with particular emphasis on the group of students. In Poland, the Institute of Statistics of the Catholic Church SAC conducts very interesting sociological research on people’s religiousness along with its usual tasks of collecting the statistical data about the Church. A key part of the article is a summary of a survey conducted among students of the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University.

W artykule, obok podstaw teoretycznych, zaprezentowano wyniki badań nad wybranymi uwarunkowaniami religijności, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem grupy studentów. Na gruncie polskim interesujące są m. in. badania Instytutu Statystyki Kościoła Katolickiego SAC, mającego za zadanie nie tylko gromadzenie i opracowanie danych statystycznych o Kościele, ale także prowadzenie badań socjologicznych dotyczących religijności. Osobne miejsce w artykule zajmują wybrane fragmenty badań sondażowych przeprowadzonych wśród studentów Wydziału Nauk Pedagogicznych Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana.

The COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing war in Ukraine are the source of many difficult situations, life crises and disasters, which requires assistance and social support. This necessarily short article presents selected aspects of the occurrence of crises, critical life events, post-traumatic stress disorders, fear of death and the processes of overcoming difficulties, providing help and social support. The issue of education for peace has been shown in a new light.

Pandemia COVID – 19 oraz tocząca się wojna na Ukrainie są źródłem wielu sytuacji trudnych, kryzysów życiowych i katastrof, co wymaga udzielania pomocy i wsparcia społecznego. W tym, z konieczności krótkim, artykule zaprezentowano wybrane aspekty występowania kryzysów, krytycznych wydarzeń życiowych, zaburzeń po stresie traumatycznym, lęku przed śmiercią oraz procesów przezwyciężania trudności, udzielania pomocy i wsparcia społecznego. W nowym świetle ukazana została problematyka wychowania dla pokoju.

Niemiecka pedagogika znajduje się w trakcie licznych wyzwań związanych z modernizacją teorii i praktyki edukacji. Znaczący wkład do jej rozwoju wnoszą prace Profesora Dietricha Bennera. W artykule zaprezentowano wybrane obszary oraz tendencje przemian we współczesnej niemieckiej pedagogice, w tym w obszarze edukacji dorosłych, pedagogiki leczniczej i społecznej. Szczególna uwaga zwrócona została na takie zagadnienia, jak: – uwagi terminologiczne obejmujące zwłaszcza pojęcia – andragogika, edukacja dorosłych, pedagogika lecznicza oraz terminy pokrewne; – najważniejsze trendy, tendencje i obszary badań prowadzonych przez niemieckich andragogów; – konstytuowanie się podstawowych struktur współczesnej niemieckiej edukacji dorosłych; – organizacja i kierowanie we współczesnej niemieckiej edukacji dorosłych; – instytucjonalizacja badań oraz współpraca teoretyków i praktyków. Europejska współpraca andragogów i pracowników socjalnych w obszarze krajów języka niemieckiego, realizowana jest m.in. w ramach konferencji Sekcji Edukacji Dorosłych Niemieckiego Towarzystwa Nauk o Wychowaniu oraz Niemieckiego Kongresu Pracy Socjalnej i sympozjów poświęconych międzynarodowej pedagogice leczniczej i pedagogice specjalnej.

German pedagogy is affected by numerous challenges connected with modernization of theory and practice of education. The significant impact is brought by the works of Professor Dietrich Benner. In the article there are presented chosen areas and trends of transformation in modern German pedagogies including the education of adults, medical education and social pedagogy. Special attention is put on such issues as: – terminological comments such as andragogy, education of adults, medical education and other related terms, – the most important trends, tendencies and areas of studies conducted by German andragoges, – the basic structures of contemporary German education of adults, – organization and management of contemporary German education of adults, – institutionalization of studies and cooperation of theorist and practices. European cooperation of andragoges and social workers in the areas of German speaking countries is implemented by Adult Education and Section of the German Society Science education and German Congress of Social Work and symposia devoted to international medical education and special education.

Andragogiczna refleksja nad przebiegiem i efektami procesu uczenia się osób dorosłych

Treści artykułu koncentrują się wokół problematyki koncepcji całożyciowego uczenia się, przy uwzględnieniu charakterystyki uczenia się: kumulatywnego, asymilacyjnego, akomodacyjnego i transformatywnego. Osobne miejsce poświęcono na omówienie zagadnienia efektywności oraz przezwyciężania trudności i barier w toku procesu uczenia się osób dorosłych. Na przebieg i efekty uczenia składa się bardzo wiele zmiennych wchodzących ze sobą w różnorakie interakcje i powiązania na szczeblu jednostek, grup i instytucji funkcjonujących w określonym otoczeniu społecznym. W badaniach i studiach nad jakością funkcjonowania pracowników, a pośrednio także nad koncepcją ich kształcenia i doskonalenia, interesujące wydaje się zastosowanie analizy użyteczności społeczno-zawodowej. Pomiar i ocena efektywności kształcenia osób dorosłych powinny obejmować również ich użyteczność określoną podczas badania losów absolwentów na podstawie ich samooceny, opinii pracodawców i organizacji zawodowych, obserwacji, diagnozowania wiedzy, umiejętności i postaw zawodowych oraz badania wytworów pracy.

The content of this article focuses on the problems associated with the concept of lifelong learning, including the characteristics of the following types of learning: cumulative, assimilative, accommodative and transformative. Additional space has been dedicated to the discussion about effectiveness and dealing with difficulties and challenges that may arise during the process of adult education. The process and results of education depend on many different factors interacting among one another in various ways – as well as their interrelationship on the level of individuals, groups and institutions functioning in a given society. The research and studies on the quality of employees’ lives, including perspectives of their further development and education, imply that it could be interesting to analyze their social and professional usefulness. The measurement and evaluation of the effectiveness of adult education should also include its usefulness according to the study comprising professional lives of graduates based on their self-assessment, opinion of employers and professional organizations, observation, knowledge diagnosis, skills, professional attitudes and analyzing work products.
