The aim of the article is to analyze the role of international cooperation in counteracting global threats and to assess the effectiveness of the actions taken. The first part presents the role of international organizations in ensuring global security, with particular emphasis on their structures, initiatives and the effectiveness of their activities. The second part focuses on regional and bilateral cooperation, analyzing its impact on the stabilization of regions and the effectiveness of actions taken in the context of geopolitical challenges. The last part identifies key barriers to effective international cooperation, as well as indicates the prospects for its development in the context of dynamic global changes. The research problem was formulated: What are the main challenges and prospects for the development of international cooperation in combating global threats? The research hypothesis assumes: The effectiveness of international cooperation in combating global threats is limited by political divergences, lack of uniform regulations and insufficient resources, but the development of technology and the strengthening of regional and global coordination mechanisms may contribute to its improvement. Research methods such as literature analysis, systemic method, comparative approach and case studies of selected international organizations and initiatives were used.

Celem badawczym artykułu jest analiza roli współpracy międzynarodowej w przeciwdziałaniu globalnym zagrożeniom oraz ocena skuteczności podejmowanych działań. W pierwszej części przedstawiona została rola organizacji międzynarodowych w zapewnianiu bezpieczeństwa globalnego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ich struktur, inicjatyw oraz skuteczności podejmowanych działań. Druga część koncentruje się na współpracy regionalnej i bilateralnej, analizując jej wpływ na stabilizację regionów oraz skuteczność podejmowanych działań w kontekście geopolitycznych wyzwań. Ostatnia część identyfikuje kluczowe bariery dla efektywnej współpracy międzynarodowej, a także wskazuje perspektywy jej rozwoju w kontekście dynamicznych zmian globalnych. Problem badawczy sformułowano: Jakie są główne wyzwania i perspektywy rozwoju współpracy międzynarodowej w zwalczaniu zagrożeń globalnych? Hipoteza badawcza zakłada: Skuteczność współpracy międzynarodowej w zakresie zwalczania zagrożeń globalnych jest ograniczona przez rozbieżności polityczne, brak jednolitych regulacji oraz niedostateczne zasoby, jednak rozwój technologii oraz wzmacnianie regionalnych i globalnych mechanizmów koordynacyjnych mogą przyczynić się do jej usprawnienia. Zastosowano metody badawcze takie jak analiza literatury przedmiotu, metoda systemowa, podejście porównawcze oraz studium przypadku wybranych organizacji i inicjatyw międzynarodowych.
