The article aims to discuss the ways of introducing students to the subject matter related to the profiles of the most outstanding Polish writers functioning in the school space. The article embraces some elements of Ignacy Krasicki's work. On the basis of the literary scholar's diagnoses, the issue of school readings and school humanistic reflections was distinguished. The whole is an attempt to answer the question – how to reconcile the contemporary experience of students with the material in force at school? Issues oscillating around of anthropology of literature, philosophy and media studies – included in the didactic perspective – bring closer to the visualization of universal issues that constitute a useful context in education. A wide range of considerations – concerning both metaphysical reflection and the flow of information in the media – is intended to underline the important function of contemporary dialogue with tradition in Polish language classes.

Artykuł ma na celu omówienie funkcjonujących w przestrzeni szkolnej sposobów wprowadzania uczniów w tematykę związaną z sylwetkami najwybitniejszych pisarzy polskich. Osią tekstu stały się elementy twórczości Ignacego Krasickiego. Na podstawie rozpoznań literaturoznawców wyodrębniona została problematyka szkolnych odczytań i szkolnych refleksji humanistycznych. Całość stanowi próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, w jaki sposób pogodzić współczesne doświadczenia uczniów z materiałem obowiązującym w szkole? Wiedza z pogranicza antropologii literatury, filozofii i medioznawstwa – ujęta w perspektywie dydaktycznej – przybliża do uniwersalnych zagadnień, stanowiących przydatny kontekst w edukacji. Szeroki zakres rozważań, dotyczących zarówno refleksji metafizycznej, jak i obiegu informacji w mediach, ma za zadanie podkreślić ważną funkcję dialogu współczesności z tradycją na lekcjach języka polskiego.
