In the wake of spacial turn, we are currently observing in literature a growing interest in space, of which geopoetics is one aspect. The book Geopoetyka. Związki literatury i środowiska by Anna Kronenberg was submitted as her doctoral dissertation at the Department of Theory of Literature, Institute of Contemporary Culture at the University of Łódź. The author is known for her interest in geopoetics, ecocriticism, ecofeminism and Polish immigration literature. The reviewer of Kronenberg’s work focuses on the geopoetical value of the young researcher from Łódź. She is praised for the metaphorical character of her study and her involvement reaching far beyond the academia. On the other hand however, it is pointed out that she is unable to develop Kenneth White’s thought in the scientific discourse, as compared with Elżbieta Rybicka who does so on assumption so to speak.

À cause du mouvement spatial turn, on commence aujourd’hui à s’intéresser de plus en plus à l’espace dans la littérature, et la géopoétique est l’une des marques de cet intérêt. Le livre Geopoetyka. Związki literatury i środowiska d’Anna Kronenberg est une thèse de doctorat rédigée à l’Institut de théorie de la littérature, à l’Institut de la Culture Contemporaine de l’Université de Łódź. L’auteure est connue pour son intérêt pour la géopoétique, l’écocritique, l’écoféminisme ainsi que pour la littérature polonaise de l’émigration. Dans le texte critique concernant le livre de Kronenberg, on s’est concentré sur la valeur géopoétique de la jeune chercheuse de Łódź. On a vanté le caractère métaphorique de sa dissertation, son engagement dépassant le travail à l’université, mais on a remarqué aussi que Kronenberg n’est pas capable de développer dans le discours scientifique les idées de Kenneth White aussi bien qu’Elżbieta Rybicka.

The author of this article aims at introducing a concept of sustainable development, derived from the economic and political sciences, back into the language of philosophy. His success is only partially accomplished; however, this text's crowning success is achieved by unveiling the strategy of bearing seen as integral and sustainable development. Also, it is a request for an individual's preparation for overall perception as well as action, a global understanding of the world. It is the entire world to be borne, since humanity has already reached a critical moment. The form of practice along with the strategy of bearing that each field of study involves is that which is becoming avant-garde today. Rather than to correct the world, knowledge is initially used to correct the one who is working in a laboratory or indulges oneself in reading a book in a library. We are probably witnessing the emergence of a new man. This man dwells in the center, and therefore he is the one whose imagination has been transfigured. He no longer attempts to multiply information, but yearns for a different way of acquiring and using it. A market-oriented world will not do without this new type of man - a completely different organizer of systems.

The author of the obituary refers to the translation works of Feliks Netz and deliberates on the art of translation itself and a special friendship between an author and a translator, which appears to be impossible to describe with words.

At the very beginning of his review, the author indicates that Notatnik i modlitewnik drogowy by Henryk Waniek is a remarkably eccentric piece of writing (in accordance with the etymology of this word as located outside centres), placing itself outside dominant discourses and modes. In Waniek’s book artistic competence and talents merge as it also contains some prints by the author. Despite the absolute originality of the title, it has been taken from a certain semantic field of meanings close to Waniek and well known to him from his Silesian peregrinations. Therefore, it can be said that the nomadic prose of this publication is part of the geopoetic trend (the author sees Silesia, sees a road, sees space for its own sake), yet it also remains characteristic of Waniek’s writing in being esoteric, esseistic, reminiscent and metaliterary

Tout au début, l’auteur du compte rendu mentionne que Notatnik i modlitewnik drogowy de Henryk Waniek est un ouvrage particulièrement excentrique (conformément à l’étymologie de ce terme : se plaçant en dehors du centre), se situant à l’extérieur de la majorité des centrales qui orientent les discours et les modes. Étant donné que la publication contient des gravures de l’auteur, on peut y trouver des compétences et talents artistiques qui se croisent. Malgré son originalité, le titre a été conçu dans un certain champ de significations qui sont proches à Waniek et qu’il connaît très bien grâce à ses pèlerinages silésiens. On peut donc constater que la prose nomade de cette publication s’inscrit dans le courant de la géopétique (l’auteur voit la Silésie, il voit un chemin, il voit des espaces pour eux-mêmes), mais elle reste traditionnellement waniékien : elle est ésotérique, propre à l’essai et aux souvenirs, métalittéraire.

Surely this short essay is a consisting of one sketch, which is a reviews of cultural study about the most famous Portugal city - Lisboa. As the author has assured, Lisboa today is already city, which is not smell excessively substances such as vanilla or oriental - that was burdensome, because complained about that Sá de Miranda near five hundred years ago. In fact, Lisboa is certainly not the saddest city in the world; rather it is a city of gravest and full of nostalgia, as well as formerly fragrances spices. This empirical city experience makes a question - May not even would have to be the nitrous in the air dense feelings called nostalgias, but expectation ? The Author has affirmed, this is other expectation; it is a strong nautical hope, which means that more than any possible limit of ideas exist a limitless horizon of an open and spacious living; where the house is a horizon and not what is easy reach within. Kadłubek reminds the first newcomer of Lisboa - that was Ulisses. He was the first, who he settled here and sailed - here, which means to these limits around the world. In such a beautiful rhetorical way, author has described yourself Lisboa experience, as the arrived of Ulisses. So far, he writes - In Lisboa, Ulisses is happy now ! The Happiness of Ulisses will be mine too! As he: I would like to get to Europe's borders, to the limits of everything, to reach the house. I would like to see, whither the existence going is? Is it possible, that as Tejo - falls to the Atlantic, where all mixed together? Where the one life has spilled down by bringing together with the other life, where everything is mixed, but nothings has not lost at the border life. So far, this piece opens a meditation about an appropriation the limits and paradoxically a freedom. When author writes - to appropriate - he thinks about freedom, which smells as geological roots on the far side of the world; that is why I need water and salt, because I crave extremely immeasurable oceanic expanse; I crave limitless, because I relies, that the limit, which is the most limitless - it means - separates all from everything in final and definitive way is a sea, an ocean; then I thought so 'I'm going to Cascais', twenty-five km west of Lisboa. At the end, author calls - looking for limits, we crave the ocean view, we are going to Cascais; towards to depths such as distant and great. We never care about the conclusion; we never going to close something, we always open and unlock something.
