The purpose of publishing the article is to expand knowledge about the social relationships of children on the autism spectrum and the causes of problems occurring in them. The entire work was based on three areas of functioning of a child with autism spectrum disorder - relationships with peers, relationships with strangers, and relationships with parents and other family members. These children struggle with huge problems in both verbal and non-verbal communication, which results in impaired social contacts with adults and peers.

Celem artykułu jest poszerzenie wiedzy na temat relacji społecznych dzieci ze spektrum autyzmu oraz problemów w nich występujących. Praca odnosi się do trzech obszarów funkcjonowania dziecka ze spektrum autyzmu – relacji z rówieśnikami, relacji z osobami obcymi, nowo poznanymi oraz relacji z rodzicami i innymi członkami rodziny. Dzieci te zmagają się z ogromnymi problemami zarówno w komunikacji werbalnej, jak i pozawerbalnej, przez co kontakty społeczne z osobami dorosłymi oraz z rówieśnikami pozostają zaburzone.
