For the purpose of the research, data from the International Trade Centre (ITC) was used. The author also used the method of a case study – fruit and vegetable producer organisations and groups from the Lower Silesian voivodeship were the focus of the research. The analysis allowed the steady growth of fruit and vegetable exports between 2004- 2012 to be identified from Poland as a whole, with the main importing markets being Germany and Russia. The text deals with the fragmentary issue of Piotr Skarga’s iconography which is the artistic legacy of the anniversaries celebrated in 1912 and 2012. The remembrance of this Jesuit’s death one hundred years ago stirred up many emotions. It was visible in, for instance, mass manifestations, books, theatre performances or the creations of fine arts. In the reality of the beginnings of the 20th century, what was important was the impact of the image created by Jan Matejko as well as its ideological, virtually mystical, background. This jubilee, celebrated one hundred years ago, has left numerous traces in the arts, some of which have not been retained to this day. The medal by Witold Bieliński; the bust sculptured by Władysław Mazur and Jan Tombiński; or the exquisite bas-relief by Luna Drexler on the Lvov Latin Cathedral were characteristic of those times. However, the level of those works is contrasted with the quality and number of creations dedicated to Skarga during the last anniversary. Both the postage stamp issued by the Polish Postal Service as well as the monument unveiled at the Warsaw Catholic School are not really original. In 2012, Skarga was mentioned most frequently on the Internet, in the forms of memes, which were often obscene and inappropriate.

The aim of this article is to pose the question of who is the man in a world steeped in technology. Currently, through the significant growth of the Internet, we are in the middle of the road leading to the connection of all people in the world in one nervous system. Machines are the most important teachers of man. Not only in terms of learning specific things, but also in the sense that the role of the teacher described by Max Weber — in communicating our knowledge about how to be a man. With some caution we can say that the machines define human form of contact with other people. In conclusion, the author of the article considers the question of human nature in the light of such phenomena as the collective consciousness in the network, technological development and biohacking. The author introduces the concept of „machines” meaning the virtual body, computers, credit cards, terminals, camera, internet, networks, software, satellite and fiber optics. These are all elements merged in the „machine” that creates human behavior.

Article deals with the relationship between Carl Schmitt’’s political theory and political theology, which inherently works with the violence assumption, and the so called jewish question. Author shows the way the enemy of the political is gradually constructed on the basis of textual and doctrinal analysis. The core of Schmitt’s enemy construction depends on the refusal of the philosophical tradition, which assume that all man are equal as far as they are participating in one common nature or are in actual or potential possesion of reason. This refusal is the basis on which the criticism of normativism, for Schmitt in the inter-war period represented especially by jewish thinkers such as Hans Kelsen, is built to be after 1933 used in open attack on Jews as such.

Video games present different meanings of death than those conditioned by social and cultural contexts. Most games treat the motif of death instrumentally. Therefore, death is usually a norm and a rule in typical video games. However, art games present a different sense of death, one that defies its conventional meanings. The article analyses the different presentations of death in three art games: "Passage" (Rohrer, 2007), "The Graveyard" (Tale of Tales, 2008) and "Queers in Love at the End of the World" (Anthropy, 2013). These productions prove that video games are an excellent medium to offer players a deep emotional experience, which can also encourage taking a fundamental and more profound reflection on the meaning of life and death.
