Internal sensations, especially organic ones, are not only the foundation of our consciousness of life and self but also an integral part of each feeling. This is probably the origin of the genuine affinity between feelings and consciousness of life and self, an affinity that manifests itself even in speech. Indeed, the ex- pression “sense of self” is more natural than saying “representing” or even “im- agining one’s self”. It is also easier and neater to talk in French about “sentiment du moi” than “representation du moi”; the expression “das Ichgefühl” is less grating than “die Ichvorstellung”, the latter being rather used to mean the con- ceived self as opposed to the self of which one is conscious all the time. The self is not a feeling, however, if only because there are no feelings that would be equally constant or, to be more precise, that would recur with equal constancy. Even so, we can say it is closer to emotive states than to any representation or mental image. [...]

The church from the beginning of its missionary work tried to substantiate it. Among other things, missionaries kept in their archives artifacts which proved the culture of peoples or nations they evangelized. Not only did they try to preserve local culture but also supported its development. The treasures of culture they collected and kept, in time proliferated and created impressive collections, the cataloguing and exhibiting of which served missionary education.  The paper commences with showing the contribution of the church to the preservation of culture of evangelized nations, then it elaborates on the animation and educational role of missionary exhibitions and closes with formal and educational aims which should be accomplished by museums and missionary collections.

The Extraordinary Mission Month announced by Pope Francis (October 2019) provided an opportunity for a new look at the missionary mission of Christians. It is baptism to be understood again as a call to undertake the task of proclaiming the Gospel. The event of the special Missionary Month may become a chance for a new reading of the Church’s evangelizing tasks in the modern contemporary world.

Wreszcie – delikatna materia duszpasterska i ewangelizacyjna.

The missionary activity of the Church takes place in a specific context. Biosphere is a new proposal for missionary commitment. It requires respect for the rich world of nature and teaches new use of the gifts of God. The problem of ecology and mission is complex and full of interdependencies. The encyclical Laudato si’ of Pope Francis and the activities of both ecclesiastical and secular entities in this area have contributed to making some changes in the conduct of the mission. Many factors should be taken into account in the eco-mission theme, such as: climate change, degradation of the natural environment on individual continents, intergenerational solidarity, the issue of integral development and the concept of ecological conversion. The ecological challenges of our time have become a specific area of the periphery in need of the light of the Gospel. On the other hand, the missionary activity of the Church has been somehow enriched by a key element of human life, which is the environment in which the recipient of the Gospel lives. These activities are mutual and Community. Hence the topic of ecology in a missionary context requires an integral approach.

Since II Vatican Council in the formation of the seminarias is many new aspects. One, the most important, is missionary formation the future priests. Article bassed on the ideas of the encyklika Redemptoris missio and the new vision of the Pope Francis as well. Missiology as academic discipline must be more open for the new ideas from the others continents and christians denominations. The Church is missionary of the nature and pastoral service and organisation must concetred more of this dimension, also in ecumenical perspective.
