The article discusses articulation problems of hard-of-hearing school-age children that significantly diminish the intelligibility of their utterances, and are nevertheless not subjected to direct speech-therapy measures, and sometimes even resulting from improper corrective procedures. The study is a proposal for increasing the level of intelligibility of utterances through the consistent and long-term use of orthophonic exercises aimed to improve specific deficits that limit the possibilities of communication.

Artykuł dotyczy problemów artykulacyjnych dzieci niedosłyszących w wieku szkolnym w sposób istotny obniżających zrozumiałość ich wypowiedzi, mimo to niepodlegających często wprost działaniom logopedycznym, a niekiedy będących nawet skutkiem niewłaściwych działań korekcyjnych. Stanowi propozycję podniesienia poziomu zrozumiałości wypowiedzi poprzez konsekwentne i długoterminowe korzystanie z ćwiczeń z zakresu ortofonii, nakierowanych na korektę konkretnych deficytów ograniczających możliwości przekazu.
