The history and the infl uence of the Bible translations on the developmentof literary Ukrainian language is analyzed; this infl uence found its realization in the direct enrichment of the religious and church vocabulary, as well as in the language reception of the fi ction literature. The infl uence of the Bible translations on the formation of the idiostyle of T. Shevchenko is under study. The aesthetic reception of the incunabula in the poet’s works is analyzed.

W artykule przeanalizowano historię i wpływ przekładów Biblii na rozwój ukraińskiego języka literackiego, szczególnie na kształtowanie idiostylu T. Szewczenki. Ponadto zwrócono uwagę na estetyczną percepcję inkunabułów w twórczości poety.

The article deals with the use of sacral images, motives, themes by Taras Shevchenko’s writings and painting. The semiotic interactions in the Ukrainian artist’s works is analyzed. The typology of bbiblical themes in Taras Shevchenko’s painting and poetry is investigated.

W artkule poruszona została kwestia relacji pomiędzy poetyckimi a malarskimi realizacjami obrazów, motywów oraz tematów sakralnych w twórczości Tarasa Szewczenki. Autorka przeanalizowała proporcje biblijnych reminiscencji w obu dziedzinach sztuki, a także zaproponowała typologię biblijnej topiki w malarstwie oraz utworach poetyckich ukraińskiego wieszcza.
