The article presents the original concept of the Author's creative workshop which is treated as an art form and the method of education. It contains a presentation of the structure of the original workshop developed by the Author in the context of multi-layered relations occurring in the interconnected areas of art and education leading to subjective development.

The problem is located in the area of didactics and concerns methods used in working with children with disabilities. In the text was presented the creative workshop entitled „The book with holes” developed for children of which disabilities is the results of chronic illness. It was conducted by Eugeniusz Józefowski in 1990, at the Children's Clinic in Groningen (the Netherlands). The result of improving the mood of the participants indicates that this workshop is carrying out goals that are very important for children with disabilities.This allows to say, that the creative workshop is an effective method of support.

Podjęta problematyka mieści się w obszarze dydaktyki i dotyczy metod stosowanych w pracy z dziećmi z niepełnosprawnością. W tekście zaprezentowano warsztat twórczy pt. „Książka z dziurami” opracowany dla dzieci, u których niepełnosprawność jest wynikiem przewlekłej choroby. Został on przeprowadzony w 1990 roku przez Eugeniusza Józefowskiego (autora warsztatu) w Klinice Dziecięcej w Groningen (Holandia), co pozwoliło na weryfikację przyjmowanych założeń. Rezultat w postaci poprawy nastroju uczestników wskazuje, że warsztat ten realizuje cele ważne w pracy z dzieckiem niepełnosprawnym. Pozwala to stwierdzić, że warsztat twórczy jest efektywną metodą wsparcia.
