Otto Friedrich Bollnow was born in Szczecin. He was an educational philosopher and representative of pedagogical science, in Poland it is not well known. On the basis of phenomenology, Bollnow analyzed impor-tant problems and educational concepts. In my article I analyze, accord-ing to Bollnow, the relationship between language and education, the dignity of words and the importance of practise in school work.

The article deals with the problem of lexical and semantic collocations – systematic, normative, and idiomatic. The focus is on the analysis of collocations which are problematic for Ukrainians studying Polish, and the most frequent types of mistakes made by Ukrainian students are analyzed. Text exercises using lexical and semantic collocations including prefixal verbs are proposed for advanced Ukrainian-speaking learners.

W artykule przedstawiono problemy związane z leksykalno-semantyczną łączliwością wyrazów: systemową, normatywną, idiomatyczną. Skupiono się na analizie zagadnień łączliwości, przysparzających szczególnych kłopotów Ukraińcom uczącym się języka polskiego, omówiono najczęstsze rodzaje błędów popełnianych przez nich w tym zakresie. Zaproponowano ćwiczenia tekstowe dla zaawansowanego odbiorcy ukraińskojęzycznego obrazujące łączliwość leksykalno-semantyczną czasowników przedrostkowych.

Przytoczono typowe błędy popełniane przez osoby ukraińskojęzyczne w zakresie rządu czasowników polskich. Omówiono zalety ćwiczeń tekstowych pomagających zwalczyć interferencję w zakresie składni.

In the article, case government in the texts written by students of Polish philology at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is analyzed. The most typical verbal case government errors made by Ukrainian-speaking students are shown. The author discusses he advantages of text exercises, which help to deal with the negative language transfer in syntax.

Body memory is a relatively new philosophical notion, entangled in interiorization of the past – paradoxically this entanglement liberates the individual from the dictature of the present flow and enables her/his autonomy. The author intends to show that this apparent ensnarement, with all its difficult genesis, makes us responsible, active agents, influencing our environment. To achieve this objective, she chooses to describe the painful of ambiguous process of training and drill of the body, immersing us in social patterns, and thus in the living past. This path leads us – a paradox again – to the arduous and painstaking rediscovery of the issue of subject. There is still hope that we can recuperate this vanishing notion, reinterpreting the most essential classical themes of philosophy, such as time and transcendentality. But the subject matter remains opaque, and requires further reflection.

Funkcjonowanie metody komunikacyjnej w zawodowym podejściu do nauczania języka ukraińskiego studentów zagranicznych kierunków medycznych jest mało zbadane, co uwarunkowuje aktualność tego tematu. Stwierdzono, że badacze różnią się w swojej opinii na temat roli komponentu komunikacyjnego i gramatycznego w nauczaniu języka ukraińskiego jako języka obcego. Ponadto współczesne podręczniki nie mają wystarczającej liczby ćwiczeń, aby rozwinąć komunikację zawodową. Celem pracy jest poznanie zastosowania metody komunikatywnej w profesjonalnym podejściu do nauczania języka ukraińskiego (jako języka obcego), opracowanie odpowiednich ćwiczeń i zadań. Stwierdzono, że w procesie uczenia się komunikacji w języku obcym istotne jest przedstawienie i opanowanie materiału gramatycznego przez studentów. Przedstawiono przykłady zadań i ćwiczeń mających na celu rozwój kompetencji komunikacyjnych i gramatycznych studentów-medyków zagranicznych w zakresie komunikacji zawodowej.

The way the communicative method functions in a professionally oriented approach to teaching Ukrainian foreign students of medical specialties has been little studied, and that determines the relevance of this topic. It has been found that there is a controversy in scientific thought concerning the role of both communicative and grammar components of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language. Moreover, modern textbooks do not provide sufficient exercises to develop professional communication. The purpose of this study is to investigate the application of the communicative method in a professionally oriented approach to teaching Ukrainian (as a foreign language), and to develop appropriate exercises and tasks. The conclusion is that in the process of learning to communicate in a foreign language, it is important for students to present and master grammatical material. Samples of tasks and exercises aimed at developing the communicative and grammar competence of foreign medical students in professional communication are presented.
