Academic curricula and programmes of Russian as a foreign language provide students with the course of reading as a separate subject area. Problems connected with using literary texts as a part of teaching process of the subject has been described by N.Kulibina in her book Why, what and how to read in classroom. Certainly, the choice of literary text and type of work should be determined by the language level of students. In advanced groups it is recommended to use for reading original texts in Russian language. Unfortunatelly, teachers very seldom come to the literary texts by V. Shukshin – first of all, because of their linguistic complexity: numerous lexical and grammatical constructions of colloquial language, which make it very difficult to understand the text. Nevertheless, in our opinion, among works of Shukshin there are lots of texts that can be successfully used in the teaching process. And what is worth mentioning here, they reveal deep philosophical world of their author.

В рамках изучения русского языка как иностранного в учебных планах и программах высших учебных заведений нередко как отдельная дисциплина предусмотрен такой курс, как «Чтение». Проблемы, которые встают перед преподавателем, включающим в свои уроки про­изведения художественной литературы, сформулированы в известной работе Н.В. Кулибиной: «Зачем, что и как читать на уроке». Разумеется, выбор текста и виды работы с ним диктуются уровнем владения языком конкретной аудитории. В группах учащихся, владеющих языком на продвинутом уровне, обычно к прочтению предлагаются неадаптированные тексты. К сожа­лению, в их числе крайне редко оказываются произведения В. Шукшина - в первую очередь, из-за сложности языкового материала: обилие лексем и грамматических конструкций раз­говорного стиля, наличие просторечных элементов затрудняют восприятие смысла текста. Тем не менее, на наш взгляд, среди текстов В. Шукшина есть вполне доступные учащимся, при этом ярко демонстрирующие глубокий философский мир писателя, они смогут обогатить знания студентов и магистрантов о русской литературе и культуре еще одним именем.

The paper is an attempt to interpret the metaliterary aspect of Vladimir Sorokin’s novel titled Manaraga. Thorough analysis of the text has revealed the postmodern understanding of literary activity as the pivotal element of Sorokin’s narration. Thus, the narrator along with his words do not represent reality but create it in an almost divine manner. The interpretation also suggests that the novel has an underlying message seeping from its every page – cognition and reading are inextricably connected. Moreover, deep cognition needs a plurality of ideas/views/points of view, which is present only in a world in which books are read and not consumed.

Двести детей дошкольного возраста и учеников первых классов начальной школы приняли участие в программе развития основных навыков чтения и письма посредством взаимодействия с лошадьми. Программа использует серию трех взаимодействий с лошадями для повышения мотивации воспитанников детсадов и школьников к изучению чтения. Во время знакомства с лошадями участники программы получают экземпляры книги, которую они будут читать на протяжении следующих шести недель. В течение этого периода дети принимают участие в занятиях, посвященных лошадям, в рамках обычных уроков, а также читают полученную книгу. В конце программы ее участники отправляются на экскурсию на ферму, где им предлагается читать вслух и взаимодействовать с лошадями в качестве награды за помощь на ферме. Приобретение навыков чтения и письма в раннем возрасте и показатели успеха в этой области измерялись с помощью тестов в начале и в конце эксперимента, а также качественных данных, собранных среди учителей и родителей. Результаты показывают статистически значимый рост показателей грамотности. Участники программы также показали увеличение знаний о лошадях.

Two hundred kindergarten and first grade students participated in a program to develop early literacy skills through horse interaction. The program uses a series of three-horse interaction experiences to increase motivation to read. During the introduction to the horse, students are provided with a copy of the book they will read over the next six weeks. The students participate in horse-focused activities over the next six weeks during regular classroom instruction along with practice time reading the book. At the end of the program, students attend a field trip to a farm where they are invited to read aloud and engage in further interaction with horses as a reward for their work. Early literacy skills and literacy success indicators were measured through a pre-/post-test as well as qualitative data collected from teachers and parents. Results show statistically significant increases in literacy indicators. Students also demonstrated an increase in horse knowledge.

This article presents the activities and forms of work of selected public libraries in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship during the coronavirus pandemic. It presents interesting aspects of the work undertaken by the employees of the institutions in order to maintain contact with readers and users of the facilities. Using selected examples, the author presents attractive forms of remote work, which, despite the epidemic conditions, made it possible to continuously promote the library collections and cultural offer, becoming an inspiration for many educational activities.

В статье рассматриваются деятельность и формы работы отдельных публичных библиотек Свентокшиского воеводства во время пандемии коронавируса. Проанализированы, в частности, интересные аспекты работы, проводимой работниками институций для поддержания контакта с читателями и пользователями. На отдельных примерах автор рассматривает интересные формы дистанционной работы, которые, несмотря на эпидемическую угрозу, позволили постоянно популяризировать библиотечные фонды и культурное предложение, став источником инспирации для многих образовательных мероприятий.

Artykuł prezentuje działalność i formy pracy wybranych bibliotek publicznych województwa świętokrzyskiego w czasie pandemii koronowirusa. Przybliża ciekawe aspekty pracy, jaką podęli pracownicy instytucji, w celu zachowania kontaktu z czytelnikami i użytkownikami placówek. Na wybranych przykładach autorka przedstawia atrakcyjne formy pracy zdalnej, które pomimo epidemicznych warunków, pozwoliły nieprzerwanie promować zbiory biblioteczne, ofertę kulturalną, stając się inspiracją do wielu edukacyjnych działań.
