The paper presents a historical account of the interpretations of Atanas Dalchev’s poem Stone (1926). It also suggests two possible further approaches towards the poetic work in the light of Quranic surah 112 and the Christian tradition. The author concludes that Dalchev’s poem will continue to provoke literary historians’ and critics’ discussions due to its highly metaphorical nature.

Artykuł podaje historyczny przebieg analiz i interpretacji wiersza Kamień (1926) bułgarskiego poety Atanasa Dałczewa. Autor sugeruje również dwa możliwe nowe podejścia do utworu: w świetle koranicznej sury 112 oraz tradycji chrześcijańskiej. Autor stwierdza, że wiersz Dałczewa nadal będzie prowokować krytyków i historyków literatury ze względu na jego metaforykę i wieloznaczność.
