Jakość można określać zarówno z punktu widzenia producenta, jak i konsumenta. Producent może określać jakość jako jedną ze zmiennych, która kształtuje zyski i konkurencyjność przedsiębiorstwa. Aby system zarządzania jakością mógł sprawnie funkcjonować, w organizacji musi istnieć potrzeba identyfikowania, dokumentowania, analizy i optymalizacji kosztów jakości. Jednym ze sposobów obniżania kosztów wytworzenia jest prowadzenie rachunku kosztów jakości. W artykule przedstawiono znaczenie rachunku kosztów jakości w zarządzaniu organizacją na przykładzie spółdzielni mleczarskiej.

It is possible to determine the quality both from a point of view of the producer and consumers. The producer can describe one of variables the quality which is shaping profits and the competitiveness of the enterprise. So that the quality management system can efficiently function in the organization must exist identifying, documenting, analysis and the optimization of the quality costs. Conducting the calculation of the quality costs is one ways of lowering costs of producing. In the paper was described a meaning of the calculation of the quality costs in the management with organization on the example of the dairy cooperative.
