The aim of this article is to present what chatbots are and where they can be applied. We described the chatbot Wincenty which promotes the Knowledge Engineering specialization offered by University of Economics in Katowice. We also presented our researches how students consider Wincenty. At the end we indicated advantages of using chatbots.

Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na rozwój e-usług i jego bariery. E-usługa jest to usługa wykonywana za pośrednictwem mediów elektronicznych, świadczona na indywidualne życzenie usługobiorcy. Nie wymaga ona obecności stron w tym samym czasie i miejscu, jest to usługa wykonywana w sposób automatyczny za pośrednictwem systemu informatycznego. W artykule opisano następujące rodzaje usług elektronicznych: e-administracja, e-zdrowie, e-bankowość, e-handel, e-ubezpieczenia, e-edukacja, e-kultura, e-turystyka. Wybór tych usług podyktowany został obserwacją rynku, z której wynika, że cieszą się one dużą popularnością i istnieje potrzeba ich szybkiego rozwoju. (fragment tekstu)

Increasing competition in services and the desire to save time, money and ensure the quality of life led to the emergence of electronic services. This market has created new jobs. The article analyzes the objectives and the motive underlying the people (consumers) who use this form of service. The barriers to using e-services were highlighted. Considerations focus on e-services, which enjoy the greatest interest of society: banking, commerce, government, health, insurance, tourism, education and culture. Furthermore, the findings are presented and problems concerning the development of electronic services, which as a result of the study appeared to be most important. (original abstract)
