Celem opracowania jest próba przedstawienia zakresu zmian występujących na rynku powierzchni magazynowej w Polsce. Analiza wielkości powierzchni magazynowej została przeprowadzona w podziale na regiony. Lata 2001-2009 stanowiły w Polsce okres boomu inwestycyjnego na rynku powierzchni magazynowej. W latach 2010-2011 rynek nowoczesnych powierzchni magazynowych nie utrzymał tempa wzrostu obserwowanego w poprzednich latach. Znacznie lepszy był 2012 r., kiedy to do użytku oddano ponad 518 tys. m2 nowej powierzchni magazynowej. Dzięki temu polski rynek przekroczył barierę 7 mln m2 istniejącej powierzchni. W ten sposób Polska pozostała największym rynkiem powierzchni magazynowych w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej.

The aim of this paper is to present a range of changes occurring in the warehouse market in Poland. Analysis of the size of storage space, was carried out by region. The years 2001-2009 were a period in Poland, the investment boom in the market of warehouse space. In 2010-2011, the market for modern warehouse space is not maintained growth rates observed in previous years. Much better was 2012, was put into service more than 518 thousand. m2 of warehouse space. As a result the Polish market exceeded barrier 7 million m2 of existing space. In this way, Poland remained the largest market for space in Central and Eastern Europe.
