Zintegrowane systemy ERP same stają się narzędziem napędzającym powstawanie nowych standardów oraz metod zarządzania. Restrukturyzują one procesy biznesowe i strategie działania tych przedsiębiorstw, dzięki czemu coraz bardziej wzrasta ich konkurencyjność na wymagającym i dynamicznym rynku. Celem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie procesu biznesowego w obszarze zaopatrzenia na przykładzie istniejącego systemu klasy ERP oraz zaprezentowanie korzyści z wdrożenia tego systemu w przedsiębiorstwa. W artykule został przedstawiony obszar zarządzania logistyką w zakresie zaopatrzenia, omówiono podstawowe pojęcia i proces zaopatrzenia, a także zaprezentowano ewolucję systemów wspomagających zarządzanie logistyką.

Integrated ERP systems themselves become tools driving the emergence of new standards and management methods. They restructure the business processes and strategies of these companies, therefore more and more increasing their competitiveness in a challenging and dynamic market. The purpose of this paper is to present a business process in the area of supply as an example of an existing ERP system and to show the benefits of the implementation of this system in the enterprise. The paper presents areas of logistics management in procurement, discusses the basic concepts and the process of procurement, as well as describes the evolution of logistics management systems.
